Just Be with Me...

Did you know that God wants you? Let me ask you that question again. Did you know that the God of the Universe wants you? It's true-God wants you! Right now-just as you are-He wants you! You must BELIEVE it! In fact-He likes you. He really likes you. He is calling you to Himself before He is calling you to anything else. You might say-but what about my weakness or what if I'm not perfect? The fact is that we are all weak and we are all far from perfect. God doesn't wait for you to be absolutely perfect before He wants you. If you are a Christian, then He has put the righteousness of Christ in you. (2 Cor 3:17-21) In other words, the Father looks down upon you and sees the righteousness of Christ and that makes you acceptable in His sight. Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus and your faith in Him- You have been stamped with the words-holy, blameless, accepted, and righteousness of Jesus. Now you just have to believe these things. Apply them to your life. Ask God to help you believe these truths and walk in them. Circumstances will change, life will move fast, obstacles will come-but God's TRUTH never changes!! No matter how you feel, His truth is constant and unchanging.

Today you must receive the truth that He wants you. He doesn't want you to do more for Him. He just longs for you to be with Him. In John 17:24 Jesus said, “Father, I desire that they whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

Take some time and just BE with God. Sit at His feet and BE with Him. Don't strive-Just be with Him.

God, teach us to come before you and BE with you. Amen
